About Coach Jasim
Jasim is a Strategic management expert and a Certified Executive Coach. He has 20 years of work experience in Oman, Yemen, Pakistan, Kuwait, and the USA (California, Silicon Valley) in the area of Strategy, Leadership, Executive Development, and Business Development. He led diverse teams of up to 200 people in various sectors and industries such as Oilfield, consulting, Artificial Intelligence, Commercial agencies, Food, Logistics, State-Owned, Startups, Waste Management, Manufacturing, leadership training, and local community companies.
Coach Jasim Previous Experience
Jasim worked as CEO for many companies as well as Commercial General Manager. He served as a board member in Al Sawari and Truck Oman. Jasim started many startups, introduced many international companies to Oman, and grew business up to 106%. Jasim has developed various strategies and business plans for many companies such as Ulterra Drilling Technology (USA), Baker Hughes (Oman), Weatherford Oil Tools (Oman), United Engineering Services (MB Holding, Oman), Energy Teks (startup), and Basateen (State-Owned Enterprise)
He is a member of the International Association for Strategy Professionals in Michigan, the Strategic Management Society in Chicago, the Academy of Management in New York, the British Academy of Management in London, the European Academy of Management in Brussels, and Academy of International Business in Michigan.
Jasim has BSc in Petroleum Engineering from Sultan Qaboos University, an MBA in Executive Development from the University of Bedfordshire, an MSc in Marketing in Customer Satisfaction from the University of Leicester, and an Executive Coaching Certification from Symbiosis Coaching. Jasim is currently submitting his thesis for PhD doctorate degree in Strategic Management in the field of managerial social capital, organizational capabilities, and competitive advantages at Heriot-Watt University.

My specialty is guiding my clients through tough issues like successes, failures, and clarity about what they want, providing support when things get hard, helping overcome obstacles and barriers that hold people back, and evaluating my clients’ progress.

I work with Sales, Business Development, Strategy, and Commercial leaders in commercial entities who are interested to be market leaders, unique, and have competitive advantages compared to their competitions. My specialty is guiding my clients through tough competitions and clarity about what they want, providing support in how they can overcome their competitions when things get hard, helping overcome obstacles and barriers that hold people back, evaluating my clients’ progress, and equipping them with competitive advantages tools, and making them unique in a market at which everything can be copied.
Board of Directors Coaching:
I am a Certified Board of Directors Coach. Moreover, I was a board member so I totally understand how board of directors think and act. I work with board of directors to improve overall companies’ performance, governance, strategy as well as grow overall business.
Leadership Training:
I have been providing training in leadership and training to various private and government organizations. For example, I designed and delivered leadership training workshops to Sultan Qaboos University, Ministry of Labor, Royal Academy of Management, and more than 70 organizations.
Strategy / Competitive Strategy Training:
I have trained various leaders in strategy which allow them to make their competitions irrelevant in a market at which everything can be copied. I have also created my own unique competitive advantage model which is taught and utilized by all trainees.
Consultancy in Strategy and Business Plans:
I have developed more than 8 business plans and strategies for different companies which includes state-owned enterprise, Fortune 500 companies, local and international companies which were interested to penetrate the market in Middle East. I work with various organizations to develop and implement corporate and business strategies. Recently, I have made a recommendation to the board of directors of one of the Super local community companies (an Omani joint stock company listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange) on how to increase the company’s net profit. Accordingly, I worked side by side with the executive management for a full year to implement my recommendations, which led to raising the company’s profits 106% in less than a year's time.
